The Vamping Vamp

Posted on: March 24th, 2010 by wmapother 2 Comments

Even a bloodsucker needs a little love.  Here’s a pic from the ep I shot last week of the web series “I heart vampires.”  My right fang is just half-visible behind the mirror.  The make-up artist slathered the fang glue, then asked me to hold it in place for about five minutes (While I slurringly asked her about eight times if she was sure it would come off.  It did, thank god.)
It’s called “Nick: Into the Darkness,” ep 4, and I’ve been told it should be up in the couple weeks.

AOL TV

A new video interview with me about Lost and All Things Ethan has been posted on AOL TV here.  I was grilled by the very funny Maggie Furlong, a Lost fanatic if I’ve ever seen one.  Which I have.  Believe me.  Not, of course, that there’s anything wrong with that.

A SAD AND MERRY MADNESS

Posted on: August 2nd, 2009 by wmapother 13 Comments

My time with the Public’s Theatre’s Shakespeare Lab (see earlier post) is drawing to a close, unfortunately. We’ve finished classes and rehearsed our show, A Sad and Merry Madness. This week we present the show around the five boroughs of NYC, and we conclude our performances next weekend in the Hamptons with a fundraiser for the Public Theatre, hosted by Alec Baldwin. Details are here and here!

William has wrapped up shooting his role on his new film A Warrior’s Heart, and the film will soon be going into post-production! Though it may be a while before we hear any release information regarding the film, the first set photos are starting to make their way around the internet — including this shot of William with costar Kellan Lutz!

Pondering the Ethan/Locke ripple effect through repeats

Posted on: January 24th, 2009 by wmapother 1 Comment

Fans who were excited to see non-dead, non-flashback Ethan back on the island Wednesday night have been abuzz with speculation about the impact of Ethan & Locke’s brief meeting. Did Ethan recognize Locke during his time living among the castaways? Did that suggest to the Others that Locke was a fellow ageless time traveller like Richard Alpert? Was Locke’s assertion that he was to be the Others’ new leader the reason for their special interest in him from the beginning? Don’t forget, ABC will be repeating both new Lost episodes tonight, and full episodes may be watched online at the ABC website. Review the scene again and start sharing your own thoughts and conclusions!
